The Wooden Monuments and Objects Conservation Division preserves wooden heritage, ranging from historic structures to individual objects. Conservation work is planned to strengthen and protect these materials while retaining their original appearance and character. NRLC has developed a method for strengthening long, fragile wooden beams and hollow wooden objects without disturbing their visible form.
