As part of its regular training activities, NRLC commenced its Six Months Conservation Training Programme on 01 September 2026 at the NRLC Training Institute, Jankipuram, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The programme was formally inaugurated by the Director General, NRLC, on 02 September 2026.
The six-month training programme has been designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the conservation of cultural property. A total of 30 participants are participating in the programme. The training curriculum encompasses both theoretical and practical components, covering various aspects of conservation, including the study of materials, examination and documentation of cultural objects, preventive conservation, conservation techniques, handling and storage practices, and other relevant aspects of cultural property conservation.
The programme is being conducted in an interactive and learning-oriented environment, providing participants with a valuable platform for academic learning, practical training, professional interaction and exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of conservation.
